### What we monitor
Otomato monitors airdrop announcements so you don't have to.
**How it works:**
* **News monitoring:** We track protocol announcements, official channels, and trusted sources for new airdrops
* **Direct eligibility checks:** When possible, we verify your address directly against the protocol's eligibility list
* **Criteria matching:** When direct verification isn't available, we match the published eligibility criteria against your on-chain activity
### Use cases
Confirmed eligibility
Otomato alerts you when a protocol you've been using confirms you're eligible for an airdrop.

Potential eligibility
Otomato alerts you when you might be eligible for an airdrop based on publicly shared eligibility criteria.

* *"Based on the announced criteria, you might be eligible for the Scroll airdrop. A snapshot was taken on October 19th.* [*View source.*](https://t.co/xxxx)*"*
Snapshot alert
Otomato alerts you when a protocol you've been using announces a snapshot was taken.
